Handling protected pages

I have declared a number of pages to be password protected. It works fine but when I click on the menu-item to login, I already see the protected menu. I can't use it yet because I have to login. When I use the option "disguise the underlaying menu", I do not reach the login part.

you need to hide those pages, go to step 2, select your page then hit the hide button.
