No, it isn't a problem, you can install your WebSite X5 Smart 9 on Windows 8. You simply have to download your program from the ''download'' section here on answers then repeat the same procedure you followed the first time you installed.

I thought the same, but I think it is the projec that needs export / import, and I am not sure if the smart version can export projects.....

On my old computer my website is on the internet. Evenrything is fine!

I got a new computer and I cant get my project to the new one.

Can I made a new project on the new computer (which will be the same as the one

their is on the internet) and upload it to the internet also so that it can be replaced.?

If it can that will be easyer for me I think! I can just make the project again.

I find out  that my destination folder name on both computers is not the same - is that a

problem?

I cant find a .iwzip file but I have a .iwprj file!!!

I'm not sure if this works, but you could try to copy the complete map and all its content to the new pc. Use the map where the iwprj file is in completly and copy that to the new pc. (with all the files and sub map's

I got the feeling, that the free version of website x5 smart 9 cant exsport to another

computer?? Could that be??

Hello Vibeke!

It is not possible to export your projects with the WebSite X5 Smart 9 version of the program. If you create your web site on your new computer and export it, it will automatically upload on your old project therefore you will loose that therefore I suggest you upload your project online ( from your old computer) then copy-paste images and text from the web site online into the project on your new computer. This is the only way.

Thank you for your help. I just oploadet my website on the internet on my new computer.

But I do have a little problem.

I have som links on my website and my e-mail which I cant insert hyperlink. I wont that

people can use my e-mail from my website and the links also.

I know how to do it but it seems not to work in the new computer??
