Update to 10.1.10.54 problem  en

Hi,

I have been using Evo 10 without any problems, but today I did the update to 10.1.10.54 which seemed to install ok. The problem is when I continue to open the program it just sits there with a message 'opening main window' with a revolving circle on the screen and won't open. FYI I am running windows 8.1

I have rebooted my PC and it is the same, the program won't open.

Can I back off the version or reinstall somehow? I do not want to lose my projects that I have created or I have a big problem with my websites.

Hello Mike,

Please try to uninstall the program and then download the installer from your answers.websitex5.com profile under "Downloads" and then install the latest Version again.

Uninstalling the program will not delete the projects.

If this should not help, try to repair the .NET frameworks by following these steps:

Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off
Clear the check box for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 and then click on OK. Clear also the check box for Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 and then click on OK.
After Windows disables the feature you will need to go back to re-enable Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 and 4.5 and then click ok.

Hi,

I downloaded the software again. I followed your instructions, it appears that it needed .NET 3.5.1 Windows 8 appears to have 4.5, not sure why the last upgrade worked for me though.
