Activation issues  en

Hello,

I am working on installing and activating website x5 - professional 10.

I have read numerous issues with activation of the website x5.

I have checked for the file license.iwl (it does not exist anywhere on my computer).

I have uninstalled .net framework 3.5 and followed the instructions in a post to purge .net 3.5 then relinstall it.

I have completely uninstalled website x5, including folders in apps data/local and program files (x86).

I have tried manual activation.

I have tried running the installation as administrator and after all of this it asks me to activate the software over and over again.

It always says cativation complete then starts over.

any and all assistance would be appreciated.

thanks

brian

It also asks me for my email and password, I have registered, and it accepts my email and password during activation.

Brian,

I don't understand, you say you have seen it but not copied the file?

Or is it solved now ?

yes, I have seen the post. No, the file does not exist on my computer under any user, so I cannot copy it.

okay, not sure what happened, but I uninstalled website x5 again (third time), deleted all folders, uninstalled .net 3.5 and ran removal tool again (second time), rebooted twice, reinstalled as administrator and IT WORKED.

So, it take a few times, be persistent, it does work.

thanks
