When I enter data into email forms and personal data into the address form of the shopping basket is this ever transmitted by an open, unencrypted method across the Internet?

If it is encrypted what is the encryption method?

Please note I an NOT using https.

Hello John,

The data in the email form is not encrypted and sent only to the mail server on your hosting server where then from there it is sent as email to you.

The only way to keep all encrypted would be to use https so all data is always keept encrypted.

Many thanks!
