The error message comes from windows, the details were stored in the log. see it as the cause. Often it is about C ++ .NET, drivers or updates that are not correct or complete.

Nikola, when problems occured in earlier versions, how were the issues resolved?

Assuming you are running Windows 10, has the computer been restarted (a number of updates have caused instability until reboot).

Does the program stop at random, or is there a specific sequence required, perhaps a specific step, image or link?

In control panel, administrative tools, event viewer, windows logs can you identify the error (in such circumstances I clear the logs, then after a crash immediately browse the logs). If the error can be identified, the log could be posted here so we can try and assist.

I reported this problem many times on the forum because it happens sometimes 10-15 times in a day!

Sometimes I even have a request for the software to send the description by e-mail, which I do every time.

This happens most of the time when we leave the preview but not only, sometimes also when we modify a measure in the style of the object ...

Do you receive messages sent from the software during the crash?

Could it perhaps be a memory problem? I have two instances of WebsiteX5 Pro 14:

• On my Macbook Pro, running VMWare, Windows 10 and 4 GB of memory allocated to the VM. WebsiteX5 crashes regularly, most of the time when I want to preview a page.
• On my iMax, running VMWare, Windows 10 and 8 GB of memory allocated to the VM. WebsiteX5 runs fine, without crashes.

Also I noticed WebsiteX5 has problems when you use source images which are too large...

For my understanding X5 depends on the correct Redistributables of C++ version. It's needed for runtime. You should give it a try and install what Elisa posted.
