Image file name changes while uploading  en

I have been having this problems in all previous versions and it continues in v17.

While using Image Object, when I attach a local image from my computer to a website page, the filename changes automatically while uploading. For example 'class-code1.gif' becomes 'class-code1_7vxpbmsg.gif and 'circle.jpg' becomes 'circle_rx2bnlus.jpg'. This happens in more than 50% cases and is random, i.e. I have not been able to find a pattern. Sometimes it even changes my php file name. I have to change the file name (image or php file) and link to the image object and upload again.

Any idea why this happens? Thanks in advance.

It is designed this way so there are no mistakes in file names / older files or other places for files or x5 has made some changes to picture proberties vor better webviewing. Anyway, don't worry about it! Let x5 do his job, that's why you have it.

In most places (there are a lot you can place pictures)  you can add title and alternative text to make it better for SEO, but the file name it self is not that importand.

(It > En) ... Hi everyone ...

1) ... the image file name changes only when:
2) ... the image is not used in the native format, and therefore undergoes resizing in the project;
3) ... the image is associated with some effect, filter, mask, watermark, etcetera;
4) ... when the same image is used in various sections of the page or project;

... on the contrary, ... the image name does not change if the URL option is used for images already present on the network, or if attached to the project, and in this case with relative URL, for example: files/imagename.jpg

If you have an image you have optimized for web ( size/compression/quality ) you should always use the URL-option.
