Don't see much incentive to subscribe to Update Protection do you?
Sorry we are now not calling it Update Protection any more, wonder why??
Como atualizar o website nos sites do usuários após atualizações ?
Hi All,
I believe that Incomedia X5 is a good piece of software. However I also believe that it can be an excellent piece
of software, if only the developers would listen, take on board and action the very valuable feedback that they
get from their many loyal users. I don't know if their failure to action the issues raised is due to their developers
not really having the skills required for the role, or if Incomedia just won't spend the money on improving the
software.
What I do know though is, that Incomedia are getting very skillful at the old "smoke and mirrors" trick, we can
only live in hope that they will up their game, or as a lot of users intend to do is walk away and spend their money
elsewhere.
Jim
@ ALL
Yes, just some bug fixes...
... and I'm getting tired of posting and asking for the same old stuff all over again...
My UP is out in 7 months - and if I don't see a major e-commerce update - I know I'm out of here!
And INFO for Incomedia - if some professional webmaster is not renewing the UP - this only means that she/he has found a better piece of software to work on.
She/he will not be coming back.
Exactly!

Hello guys!
I just wanted to let you know that we have just released WebSite X5 new version 2019.3. For this version, we have introduced a number of new features, which you can find on this page: https://www.websitex5.com/en/new-features.php
I really hope you will appreciate the new functions and, if you still don't see one specific function you were looking for, don't worry: there will be other versions released within the next year! If you want to stay tuned on what will come next, you can keep an eye on our Preview program. We will let you know as soon as a version is available there.
Please let me know if I can be of further help. Kind regards.
2019.3 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New releases…
Incomedia is concentrating on creating new objects in each new release. These objects are certainly nice to have, but we could live without them, as for now. Seems to me that the new releases are created to satisfy users who purchased Update Protection, to make the UP look like something worth money spent… In my opinion it isn’t.
My points:
I wonder how many UP users are happy seeing New Content Slider Object, New Button Object or Suggestions Toolbar?
Just my “two cents”…
I vote for better e-commerce too

Anyone who subscribes to Update Protection is making it easy for Incomedia to ignore our requests for essential improvements to Website X5.
If there were no subscribers to Update Protection, and no income for Incomedia, then they would HAVE TO improve their product to generate sales of their software.
As long as revenue from Update Protection users is coming in, Incomedia can smile and keep releasing trivial features.
Take Care Myron,
Elisa will block your post because she does not like comments like this.
She don't appreciate our comments ont their bad work.
But you are right, just the truth...
Our requests are never fixed...
They are working on their f... "new content slider" object since July/August !!!!! and just now there have already some issue with it... !!!!
But nothing on our requests which are essential
This is soooo true!
Just asking did anyone get the email informing them that Incomedia will no longer be talking about Update Protection?? Apperantelly it's being dropped in favour of just calling it updates??
How does that work for everyone who subscribed to UP?
Hi William,
the system stays essentially the same, but instead of referring to it as "Update Protection", we will talk about active and expired licence. If your licence is active you get all the updates and new versions, if your licence is expired, you can't get the updates and the new versions, but you will still be able to keep using the software, as always. If you have extended your Update Protection earlier this year, your licence will be referred to as active, and it will be possible to get all the updates and new versions.
If you need any more specific information regarding this matter, I kindly ask you to create a new topic for it, so we can look at it individually.
Thanks! Kind regards.
ok will do thanks.
