Are templates updated regularly?
There is a template I'm interested in which says "Created with WebSite X5 Pro 2020.3" yet "Uh-oh,
your latest software version doesn't work with this." (I have 2021.1.4).
There are templates which appear to be created with older versions of software which ARE compatible with my version.
Wondering what the process is. If I installed 2020.3 and purchased the template, could I then save the site and bring it into my latest version software? Or do I need to wait for the author to update?

The template is up to date.
You have EVO if i am not mistaken, the template you want is for the PRO version.
If you realy like it, then update to PRO, top right next to your name there is a pulldown menu, see offers for you.
Pro templates don't work in EVO, EVO templates do work in PRO.
