Everything was fine until I received this message: "Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[', expecting ']' in /home/mathbook/public_html/res/x5engine.php on line 676" that appears when I want to enter data or access restricted pages. Why does this happen and how can I solve it?

Which php version is running on your web space? You need at least 7.1, a higher one is better ...
Also you have to check if your URL is correct. If your website is at https://yourdomain.com then inside WX5 this should be the same. Lately a change from http to https has caused the problem, most websites are https:// but the default in WX5 is http://
