I have been using Website X5 for a number of years and have never had an issue with uploading my website onto my hosting servers until now. I am able to use a FTP program, but not Website X5. Any suggestions?

Hello.
1) Temporarily disable anti-virus, firewall and any other protection.
2) Do not use VPN or proxy.
3) Run the program as administrator.
4) Reinstall the program.
@Aleksej H.
Don't blame others, it's the new version. I can upload to my webhoster Strato with the old version evo 13, but not with the new version evo 2022.2.6 with the same FTP details - that's the problem.
I uninstalled version evo 2022.2.6 and installed download version 2022.2.4 without an update.
When converting the website created with the old version evo 13, display errors occur, but a little differently than version 2022.2.6. But I can't upload with version evo 2022.2.4 either.
I repeat again, export via FTP works with the old version evo 13, but not with the new versions evo 2022.2.4, nor with evo 2022.2.6.
Hi Danial,
Firstly, I am using the latest version too, and I have no issues uploading to my server. I believe Aleksej H. was right to suggest the checks he recommended. However, to truly debug your issue, more information is needed from you…
Are you using FTP or SFTP? Also, how have entered the FTP Server Address (ie. ftp://[domain] or just [domain]? Different FTP programs/components require different methods of inputting the url. In the case of WebsiteX5, it appears the latter is correct.
It would be useful to know what steps you have performed within WebsiteX5 to overcome your roadblock, so that they can be checked-off the list of possibilities.
Good luck!
Daniel, please follow the advise offered by Alexsej if you are running any 3rd party.protection.
There is a vast difference between v13 and current versions. Ensure all fields are correctly filled, if you can browse your hosted files (using WX5), reduce the number of simultaneous connections.
Most people are not experiencing issues.
Then I have to invest a few hours to play through all possible variants.
The only strange thing is that the old version evo 13 and also the FTP program FileZilla have no problems with the current settings of the PC.
I was able to solve my problems with uploading to the web space with the new version. I didn't have to change anything on the PC settings (anti-vir, firewall, etc.).
The users who have problems uploading to the websapce are probably at ...
-------
Website URL: [ https://example.org/ ]
Target directory: [ / [FTP]
-------
... have made an incorrect entry because they did not understand exactly what the program expects from them here or the error messages are incomprehensible.
Questioners should definitely also state what they have entered here. Possibly anonymized with this example web address >> https://example.org/
When uploading to a subdirectory, e.g. a test directory, enter this information.
-------
Website URL: [ https://example.org/test/ ]
Target directory: [ /test/ [FTP]
-------
When uploading to a subdirectory, create this beforehand with an FTP program (e.g. FileZilla) if there are problems with the WebSite X5 program.
Richard, did you resolve the issue?
