Email server settings

When I go to my dashboard and manage my email account.
It has server settings to use for apps such as outlook.
When I enter the settings, it doesnt work.
I want to have a secure connection but I dont know what the setting are to make it work.
Please help!

Depending on the web hosting provider, the information regarding the email parameters varies, so we would need to know who the web hosting provider is.
The email address must be a domain email address and not a Gmail, GMX or similar email address.
Maybe ask the support of the web hosting provider or look for information on their help pages.

My webhost is Website X5.
They have perameters on my dashboard but do not work.
Im using different parameters to make it work but am concerned about security.
So I wanted to use the set parmeters website x5 host says to use. They just wont work for some reason.
Incomedia staff will be back here in about 12 hours.

you have to use the email matched to the domain !
Not a generic email like the one in Outlook....

from what you describe, you have attempted to configure the e-mail address of one of your two domains with Outlook?
What version of Outlook are you using, and what error did you encounter?
