I transferred my website izip file to my new Laptop. I followed the instructions and I believe all went well.
My question is, I thought it would bring over all contenet such as photos, pdf's etc. But when I am in the Page Creation window and open an image object and left click in the image box it does not show the dropdown that Shows (Remove, Open File Location, Save As). Although Some image objects do show the dropdown and when I click Open File Location it takes me to Documents. What have I done wrong?
It used to take me right to the file.
Thank you to all that can help.

Hello Giulio
The "Open file location" option can only work if you're working on the PC where the file was taken from. If you've moved the project to another PC, the image file will be embedded into the project and this option won't work.
However, you should be able to save the image to your PC by right-clicking. Is that correct?

Hi Stefano
Thank you for your quick response and your suggestion to save the photos in the dropdown menu. I did exactly that with a few images to test.
On my old laptop I could click on "Open File Location" and it would take me to the Exact Highlighted Image.
Now when I click "Open File Location" it takes me to Documents not to the highlighted image. It appears the images are not linked to the project.
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you for your support. Giulio
Hello Giulio
Yes that is exactly what I meant to explain. The "Open file location" option can only work if you're working on the PC where the file was taken from.
If you move the project to any other PC, of course the file doesn't exist there anymore in a separate folder. It is embedded into the Project and thus the "open file location" won't work.
I hope I explained myself better this time
Keep me posted here

Hi Stefano
Thank you for your expertise, so I guess what I need to do is to save all the photos that are embedded to new folders and be good to go.
Changing from an old computer to a new one is in many ways very chaleging for sure.
Thank you for your help. Ciao
