BUG:
When uploading a JPEG or PNG file the program converts to WEBp.
In this case, I want the site itself to portray the images in WEBp, this works, however, I need to upload some JPEG and PNG files for specific file format reasons being referenced elsewhere. For this, I create a word then Hyperlink it to a JPEG or PNG file so the application FTP's it to the directory.
Here is the BUG. The application changes that to WEBp and should not. It is not a image being displayed anywhere, just a file being uploaded. This is a BUG.

The expectations are; The application modify images to WEBp where they are actually being used and displayed to site visitors, this works by design intent, but hyperlinked images which are not displayed should be uploaded as the original image type to /files or /images, along with with the other images, retaing their file type.

Please fix.

If the WEBp setting is used, then it is normal that all images managed by WebSite X5 will be converted to WEBp.

My suggested solution for images in JPEG and PNG:

In WebSite X5 there is an FTP window with which JPEG or PNG can be uploaded to the desired directory and will then not be changed to WEBp.

The JPEG or PNG in the desired directory can then be linked in WebSiteX5 and the objects with the corresponding image-URL, see example

Image-URL: https://example.org/files/image123.jpg
