Yes we can hide the menu items with the above code. However the space reserved for the menu remains as it is thus occupying space pulling the entire content down.

Is there a way we can recover the space reserved for the menu so that we can better format the page?

the space reserverd for menu is only the image of the backgroud.

You can also try to go in step 2 and set "invisibility" all page.

I have attached the screenshot of my project.

I am making my own custom Menu. I dont want the default one. I tried with the above code to hide the menu items as suggested.

Also make my pages invisible in step 2. but the space remains there also I can not make my homepage invisible.

I dont know if I am missing out something. Please help.
