Won't Stop Uploading Video FILE !! (and...)  en

Well, even after setting the MIME types on my host's server (to .MP4), the software's ability to play video really is bad. IE does the best job (buffering and beginning play inside of 5 seconds). Chrome doesn't really buffer--the video halts and starts and halts and starts (while continuing to play the audio). Firefox apparently doesn't buffer at all--it won't start playing until after several minutes--I presume after the entire video file has been cached. Sad, really, so I decided to delete ALL the pages I had created that referenced video till I had time to upload and link to You Tube videos--THAT solution does the best.

So, now I have two problems. A section of my front page has the heading background in black now and no matter what I change that cell background color to, it will only show black after uploading to the server. I can't seem to force it to go back to the light green it used to be.

So, I thought I would force a reload of the entire stie and see if that helped the problem. That's when I found the second problem--it keeps wanting to upload my 149 MB video file even though I deleted EVERY reference to it inside the X5 software. This, of course, takes a lot of time and it's not necessary. WHY is it uploading it when there is no reference to it in my sitemap? And secondly, why can't I change the background color of a cell in my table on the front page?

Sigh...

Thanks for any help.

Update:

FORCING a reload for the entire site fixed the black header problem and now it's back to the correct color.

Now I would like to know why it wants to continue to upload my video file and how to force it to stop that.

Thanks.

I believe that you should go into the control panel of your hosting website and look for the filemanager .  Once you're there I would delete all the files related to your website. Once your finished doing all of that I would go back to the software and upload all the files once again.  I believe that this should do the trick, for this little technique has worked for me.

I own Website x5 Evolution 10.

Good luck.
