Beta Testing Program - Why Only 1 Month?
Auteur : PJ D.As we all know most major software manufacturers implement a beta testing phase prior to the launch of a new software.
it is also well known that these beta phases run over a period of several months, so the faults in the software can be rectified and eliminated prior to official launch.
Why is it that Incomedia rushed this launch through (Beta Testing Program - 1 Month?????) with so many problems and bugs still within the software?
The fact is a lot of people are experiencing problems with this latest release and this should not be the case! These issues and bugs should have been rectified Prior to release and not at the expense of your customers.
The consequences of this release is that the support staff and moderators are overloaded with support requests, customer complaints and disgruntled customers who have lost hours of work or have to invest hours to regenerate their websites as they were prior to this upgrade.
In recent days I have aired my frustration at Incomedia regarding their upgrade policies and my gripe gets further enraged when my comments get censored and / or removed from the recent posts.
Is free speech not allowed on this website?
For the record, I have to date praised the software and furthermore I must compliment the support team and moderators for the great job they do here!
I have also had software issues in the past that have forced me to completely rebuild my websites from scratch due to embedded bugs. At the time of troubleshooting these bugs I was advised by an Incomedia moderator that these issues would be rectified in future releases and then I read that someone else is experiencing the same problem in version 11.
The point of this post is that I would like to see incomedia listen to their customers rather than burying their heads in the sand And avoiding the issues.
Incomedia & Website X5 - Great Product / Great Support
All is needed now is the interest of the customers to be addressed and prioritised and then Website X5 would be complete.

Hello PJ D,
We are sorry you feel so. There was not only the final public beta testing . We have also a longer private testing period before the public one.
Unfortunately the presence of bugs cannot be avoided but we are working all the time to solve them as fast as possible.
Not all the bug reports made by the users are real because in some cases the functions of the program were not understood correctly and sometimes it was not fault of the program.
We work on the users reports to improve and fix the program but we cannot implement everything which has been requested. The suggestions are always evaluated and the ones we think are appropriate are added.
Many thanks!
