Here we go again.... Change computer causing activation probelms
Auteur : Steve P.Well, it was only to be expected, I have been using X5 since V7 and every time I upgrade my computer, there are problems in re-installing & activating product. This time it's V10 Pro, which I upgraded from V10 standard on the old computer.
The download installs OK but even though I have a valid licence and email address, the activation process refuses to connect to the server, with the following error:

Strangely, V11 Pro doesn't do this and has activated normally as expected. Why do I need V10? Simple - I have websites built in several versions and don't have the time to fiddle about ensuring compatibility when new versions of X5 are published. Most of these are in V8, which I have to keep for the reason that the later versions are not backwards compatible.
So, question - why am I getting this activation error?

The error you get is probably dew to the lack of internet connection or your server could be overloaded. Please check and try again.
