Hello

I used Website X5 compact 9 and was able to create and maintain my webpage.

Now I purchased a new PC and installed the x5 compact 9 program again. I found the backup of old web project with the file extenseion .iwprj

But on the new PC I'm able only to open projects with the extension .iwzip

What's the procedure to open such old projects with .iwprj extension?

Thanks for any help

Martin

For v9 the projects name's are the same as in V10: I explained here the differences and what you need, in short you need the folder where the iwprj file is inside)

Let me know if this helps,

Thanks for your help Andre

Unfortunately I'm not able to see my project.iwprj file according your description.

The system shows only project.iwzip files.

Is your support perhaps able to convert my existing project.iwprj file to ....iwzip?

Thanks and regards

Martin, I don't understand anymore, sorry.

In your first post you say: you found .iwprj files but can only import iwzip files.

in you second post you say: you can't see your iwprj file , the system shows only see iwzip files.

and in your prtscrn there are iwprj files ...

I assume now you have iwprj, these can be used if you set the folder where they are in inside your default install folder of your latest install. That folder should have the same name as your project name. If the folder is not there anymore but only the file then you need to start over again.

I muself don't have the compact version so I'm not sure what it can and can't do.

But to be honest it looks like a very small file, maybe it's faster to start from scratch and recreate it ? You can use the information on internet to copy into the new project like pictures and text, this saves some work.
