Captcha reset clears form contents, as well as captcha code.

Hi,
I just noticed a problem with captcha. If someone enters incorrect characters in the captcha box and then clicks on the reset button, the entire form contents are lost. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? Or, can someone provide me with a snippet of programming code that I can insert into the email form so that only the captcha box is reset and the form contents remain intact?
Thank you.

Hello Cindy,
The 'Reset' button is intended to clear the form contents... resetting the captcha is incidental to its operation.
You can remove the 'Reset' button by going to the 'Style' tab of the Email Form Object, then select 'Send and Reset buttons' from the 'Form Item' drop-down menu... having done that, deselect the 'Show the Reset button' checkbox.
Anyone attempting to submit the form with an incorrect captcha will then be presented with a different captcha to try and solve, but the form contents will be preserved as the form is designed to be 'sticky'.
Kind regards,
Paul

Dear Paul,
Thank you so much. You have been extremely helpful and I really appreciate it! I tried using Website X5 version 8 a few years ago and met with a great many frustrations. This new version 11 is fantastic. I've been able to do everything I wanted with it, and my website is now live!
Thanks again.
Be well,
Cindy
I'm really glad to hear that, Cindy, and congratulations on the launch of your new website!
I agree... WebSite X5 is very powerful software and has come on in leaps and bounds over the years. Version 11 is super-slick
Best wishes for the forthcoming holiday season.
Paul
