Adding a PDF file to my website (evolution11)

I would like to be able to add a series of PDFs to my site, (helpful how-to guides), but i dont seem to be able to add PDFs (created on my local hard drive) to the website. I can link to another web pdf, but not upload my own.

but widgets only allow me to link to an online link? i cant upload from my hard drive?

Files linked to HTML code: you can create the list of files you need to link so that the custom code that has been added to the page works correctly. All the linked files are displayed in a summary table, which gives the filename and the Relative Server path.
