Hamburger menu to anchors
Auteur : Esahc ..I have built a number of single page websites which use page anchors to navigate via the menu. Everything works fine until a "page" is selected from the expanded hamburger menu, the next time the menu is selected the expanded menu selections cannot be found unless the user scrolls up or down. The expanded menu should consistently open in the top right hand corner with all links displayed (although it would be nice if it opened just below the hamburger symbol).
I know this was an issue in the pre-release beta, is the issue still with the developers for resolution.
This is causing me issues on a number of customers websites.
eg http://www.starchauffeurlimo.com.au
The attached image shows the screen immediately after clicking/touching the hamburger menu.

As an amendment to my post, please note that when on the desktop, with the ability to change browser width, if whilst in mobile/tablet width you cllicik the hamburger menu and create the above problem, if you immediately then widen the window, there is no desktop menu available.
Perhaps this will help the programmers/developers?
Hi Esahc.
As you stated, it was already known in the beta, and the developers are aware of this issue.
This being said, it still could not be resolved as of now, but is planned to released in its fully working version in future updates.
In the meanwhile I need to ask you to be patient until the fixing patch will be released.
Thankyou for your patience

Many thanks - I'll (try) be patient.

I was patient but this issue is still not resolved with 12.0.2.17
I shall continue to be patient - although others must have this issue too.
Do you hide all posts relating to known issues?
If so it is no wonder the answers website is so frustrating - everyone must think they are the first to discover an issue when you could simply have a category of known issues and we could look to see if incomedia are aware.
Have a great day - Website X5 V12 is wonderful for my requirements. Since this post is private I can tell you I strayed to Xara to meet my responsive website needs for about 5 months, and whilst it has some really clever tricks, Website X5 is again what I use and what I recommend to anyone who asks.
Keep up the good work.
Hi Esahc.
Due to the particular nature of the issue, it is still being discussed on by the developers.
In the meantime I need to ask you to wait further until a decision will be made on the matter.
Thankyou for your patience

Could you please ask the developers if there is any progress on this issue. My existing single page websites are causing complaints by some clients and I am reluctant to create / recreate new sites because of this issue.
These single page websites (called supersites by some packages) are optimal for mobile devices (enabling scrolling to every page), but the "failed" hamburger menu is an embarrassing bug.
Hi Esahc
I confirm that the developers are still working on the problem.
This is why I need to ask you to wait until we recieve an update on the situation from the developers.
Thank you for your patience

Version 12.0.3.19 and this issue is still not resolved.
Hi Esahc.
We recieved news from the developers about this issue.
As the fact of having the menu not scrolling but being always visible resulted in some menu buttons not being clickable, the developers are working on an improvement for the Hamburger button behavior which should resolve this issue.
So I ask you to wait a little further until this improvement goes live.
Thank you for your patience and sorry for the delay.

I have updated to 12.0.4.20
What proceedure should I follow to correct this anchor issue on various websites? I have tried ctrl+preview.
The fault remains.
From the hamburger menu, click on home page (which loads the full page), then click on any anchored menu option and the menu still fails to close and scrolls off the menu options.
Bit sad :-(
Hi Esahc.
As I said, the right way to work for the mobile menu is currently being discusses by the developers, as to be able to match the requests of different users, it needs a little refining still.
I thank you again for your patience, and assure you that work is being done in order to deliver the most pleasant experiencing with this functionality.
Thank you for your patience

Thank you I shall continue the wait.
The update notes for 12.0.4.20 implied this issue had been resolved.
Hi Esahc.
The issue is still not resolved as it is still being discussed as said in my early post.
Unfortunately, it is necessary to wait longer in order for a proper solution to be out.
Thank you for your patience

TES!!!!
Thank you!
This issue appears to now be resolved with the release of V12.0.5.22
I can now proceed to fix existing sites and transform all other websites to truely responsive sites that work well in the mobile environment.
Well done Incomedia

Tes should obviously be Yes - far too much excitement for one night!
(I was so surprised that Incomedia had not forgotten this issue)
