Cannot activate Program  en

I had a previous bought version of Website X5 installed on my computer (home10). I upgraded to Evolution 12...when I try to activate the program, it just asks for me E-Mail address and then the message comes...

ATTENTION: the activation program was not able to connect to the server. Verify your internet connection and click on the "try again" button

My Internet connection works and I have tried the same procedure already with my firewall deactivated...same Problem...same message

I also do not get to see file that should be saved to be able to activate manually...as was described in one of the posts.

That's strange, it could also be that there is a problem with the servers of Incomedia.

Try later (tomorrow), if it still does not help, let me know, then I will set the post for Incomedia to check (to see if there is a problem with validation.)

Did you mean this post?

I have looked at the post above, but that is of no help...because the program does not ask for my licence key when I try to activate, only for my e-mail address. So, I never get to see the file I should save for manual activation. It doesn't even get there...please, read again what I wrote originally.

Just wanted to be sure if you ment the same post. No worry.

I will set the post for incomedia to check, are you sure your firewall is disabled it realy looks like an ineternet connection that x5 has no acces too.

And yes I read your post, but with my firewall I had a similair problem, disabled everything (firewaal / guard), still 1 program got no acces, the antivirus program was still disabling it somewhere else, I booted without the antivirus, then it worked, after that I cleaned all hold programs and set security lower, then it worked.

Be patience for Incomedia, they start checking in Answers from Monday.

Hi Bruno.

You should check that the setup file you're running doesn't have any additional part added to the name.

For example, the set up file should be

wsx5_evo.exe and not wsx5_evo(1).exe.

Check and let me know
