can we get real password protected pages
i have password protected pages that are only protected in they try to access it through the menu button but if someone knows the url they slip right pass the password protection

This does not happen,
Once entered it stores the login on your pc, then you don't need to login the next time.
If you logout, then the stored password will be erased and you need to login again if you type in the url.
Be aware the page should have php extension !

no it is still messed up if i put html instead of php it takes me to the page

fix it had two different files with same name sorry for the bother

Yes if you change a normal page to protected and you have already uploaded it, then the html page stays on your server. You have to remove it manualy.
But looking at your posts you already found out.
