Making my template responsive

I want the header to be smaller when I go to a smaller resolution, but it disappears when I go to a smaller resolution ? How du I make it flexible?
It disappears when I get to viewport 1.

Hello Kim,
The responsive viewports use a separate template with unique headers and footers. Have you set these up? (Step 1 General Settings > Template Style > Responsive Template Structure). If not then this is the source of the problem.
