As Serge alrwady stated, set the page to php

Go to page 184 in step2, select properties on the right, goto expert tab, set the page to php.

then goto step 5 , upload website, press next, then in the menu of your host select page-184.html select it and remove it with the red cross on top. now upload and check again.

You also need a package from your hosting provider that supports php5.

Most providers have this standard but not everybode so check this as well.

The calender needs data almost all kalenders on your pc or on internet can export standard ics file's. I use reminder fox in fire fox (add on).

I followed you instruction but still not working, I check with hosting provider and I get the following: We use virtual user directory paths, so you can get error when trying to setup search engine friendly URLs or trying to pass virtual directory names to PHP scripts. If can be fixed very easy. Edit your .htaccess file and add this line at the top of the file or before the first rewrite rule:

RewriteBase /

Note: if your script is installed on some directory, for example /forum, you have to place RewriteBase /forum/ line to the .htaccess file (.htaccess file must be also located in /forum directory)

A bit complicated for me : where i get the .htaccess file and where i should insert rewriteBase/

I don't know if it helps, but give it a try, it's not hard to do.

open notepad write down the text from your host. save the file as .htaccess (no extension) then save it on your pc

you can use the upload button in x5 in step 5 after selecting upload site and next, select the correct folder for the calendar, then use button on top to upload the created file.

create a small test project with a calender, add you ics file test it, or send it to me, I will test it with my provider, if it works it's a provider problem, then the solution would be take another inernet host / provider.

If you click my picture you will find my emaildres. If you wish you can export your project (step 5 export project, don't include backups or preview files)

send the file I will upload it to my provider to see if it is a provider problem or something in x5.

Got it.

I have uploaded it and there was no data.

So I checked the ics file and there was no data (no appointments) in the ics file.

Create a few appointments, then add the ics file to your project and upload it, and see if there is data in your Calendar then.

When there is data, then it works, to use it you need to add your data to any calendar. in most calendars you can link the created ics file directly to internet, this way your data will be visible in your calendar of website x5 directly.

I did open the ics file and this message from outlook came up:

In the  Hong-Kong-Contact-Calendar.ics there are no appointments, would you like to add it ?    - (I translated from dutch)

If you want I could try to set some appointments and see if this works on your webserver, But I will need to acces your server and I will do this only with your conscent.

Can I ask where you want the calender for on internet, this might help me better to find a sollution for you.

thanks, just to give an idea how to intend to use the calendar just look at the other site:www.marinersclubhk.org  0n the home page there is alinks to a calendar that I made with table. But I was hoping with full calendar to have a more professional results.
