Hi All,

I have been having a lot of issues trying to set up a reserved access section for a webpage. The site is a martial arts club and they wanted a student zone that would allow students to access their syllabus material, but only the sections for their current grade and below (no reading ahead to see "who done it!")
I have set up one group per syllabus section - ie "White belt Syllabus" as one group, all the way to "Black Belt Syllabus" as another separate group.
I Have then set up all the individual students using the 'New user' button. I have assigned a user name and password and added the entrance page after log in as a generic high level page that has links to each individual syllabus section.

If i 'Page lock' the individual syllabus pages then they are forced to enter the username and password but once entered it will automatically take them back to the entrance page.

Because i have several separate areas/pages that are behind the locked student zone section i wanted to have one log in for the student which would then allow them to access any page that was allowed under their user group.

The website is www.hyungje.org
A generic User name = newuser1
Password = ca4bt6ek

I will remove this log in in a couple of days time. Hopefully the description and the log in should show what i am trying to achieve.

Anyone who can shed some light on how i can achieve this would be greatly received!

Thank you

Neil

Hello Neil,

What you can do is to use in the HTML code object the login widget so once they are logged in they will be brought to their main page and then from there they can access to all pages they are allowed to see.

Many thanks!

Hello Neil,

Add the HTML code object on the page and then click on the button to a widget and there select "login".

This will show on the page the login widget and once used it will send to the entrance page set for the user.

Many thanks!
