Trouble uploading website

I have created my template in Websitex5 and have attempted to upload it to the FTP, but unfortunately it will not replace the old website that was originally setup on the FTP. Can anyone suggest what I am doing wrong and how I can fix this.

Unfortunately you must be uploading your WebSite X5 project to the wrong folder on your server. You need to locate what is known as the 'root' folder on your server, and set WebSite X5 to upload into that. The root folder is often called 'public_html' (but not always) - your webhost will be able to advise which is the root folder in your own particular case.
Just prior to uploading in Step 5, WebSite X5 will show you a directory listing of any files and folders present in the directory which you are about to upload to. If at this point you do NOT see the files from your old website listed, then you are definitely uploading into the wrong folder. If so, you should go back a step and adjust the 'Destination folder' field to point to the correct location.
