Version 12 pro crashes on adding photo 
Auteur : Mark M.Hi, I have been working on product developement so have only just tried to update my websites with V12pro - previously OK with V11pro but have started the sites new with a new template. On the first site I tried the old pictures loaded OK at first but then started getting broken links to some pictures and finally the program crashed and all the picture links broke. Now everytime I try to add a picture back the program crashes with this error:

Is this a project you made with version 11 and you just imported in version 12 or you were longer working on it in version 12?
Please open following path on your computer:
C:\Users\\User\Documents\Incomedia\WebSite X5 v12 - Professional\Ravenlaser test\Library\
And check if there are files like as example a file called 1a4g501276x745t1c7q0ip9ad550jn9y

Thanks for the quick reply, the project is a new one using the pictures from the old website in order to try out a responsive template and iron out the bugs in it before I also use it for my other much larger company websites so they will all have a similar style.
In the early hours of the morning I found a way of curing the problem - If I put another picture in place of the broken one then replace it with the original one it works without crashing the program, but I don't know why the problem occured in the first place, and I would hate to have to do it with the largest site where I have hundreds of products with multiople pictures for each product...
I checked the library folder and found 23 similar files to the example, but there is also a folder called LibraryBAC which holds 56 similar files, one of which is the one you have given as the example.
I would like to know what has caused the problem so I can prevent it happening again.

Probably the image or file you used is corrupt and caused this issue.
Did you add the images in the project from a folder on your computer or you copied it from the old project?
About the xx probably a browser plugin is adding them or an autofill feature.

Sorry for the delay getting back to you. The images were from the old project as well as new ones, but removing them and putting a different image in their place and saving the project followed by putting the original images back in their original places seemed to fix the problem. That said I would like to know why the problem occured as the other sites I want to work on have a lot more images - one site has hundreds. I haven't had time to work on them yet so I cannot say if the problem will pop up again and I don't fancy fixing them in the same way when I start re-organising their layout.
Finally you might be right about the xx - I think it might be the translator plugin, so I will just have to put up with putting the 'kisses' after my name and hope no one gets offended as I only speak English and was hopeless at foreign languages at school...
