I am just learning to create my own videos, any advise would be helpful.

I placed a video on m website, but I cannot view on an Android device or thru Google Chrome. I have uploaded the following formats: .webm, .mov. .avi, .mp4, ,flv, .ogv and .m2ts.

The Android says buffering and then shows the play icon, but when clicked just flashes quickly and goes back to showing the play icon.

On Chrome, it starts to play automatically, but only shows maybe 1 second and then just shows the black screen.

Any advice on getting my videos to play on all browers would be appreciated.

Thanks!

...in my opinion, the only way to have a clear view of the videos online, is trough youtube; you have the same chance to set automatic start setting the program...publish your video before, and put just a link on yur project...

Hello Debbie,

To get the video to play in all browsers use MP4 format as recommended in the official WebSite X5 help file:

http://help.websitex5.com/en/v12/pro/index.html?ogg_video.htm

You can convert your videos using any freely available media converter.  Be sure to use the correct codec as described in this FAQ:

https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/post/53536

I have converted your Mother's Day video for you so you can test it for compatibility across all devices.  It will be available for you to download for a limited period of time via the following link:

Kind regards,

Paul
