Help! I lost the .iwzip file! How to convert the files which aren't gone into .iwzip file?

I made a website and the files like .css and html etc still are there but the .iwzip file to import in incomedia Website x5 Professional 12 is missing?? How can I convert those files into .iwzip so I can import the website into incomedia Website x5 Professional 12 , without starting whole over again?

Many thanks
Charlotte

Hoi Charlotte,

The backup file created in x5 step 5 (export project) is an *.iwzip file.

The project itself is an *.iwprj file.

Try to find one of them, without one of them you need to start over again.

see also the standard backup option:

Thank you for your quick answer!

Although I have those .iwprj files, I don't know what to do with them. When I click on them it won't open in the program. And the website program doesn't recognize them, so I can't import them?

Thanks again,

Charlotte

You need to set correct folders of the iwprj files in x5, or copy the folder where the iwprj in is to the default folder of x5.

You can find the default folder location in x5 at startup in the preference link/option.

If folder setting is correct you can open you project as you normally would.

After that make a copy in x5 step 5 export project and keep it on another location or drive, that way you are always save.
