Thank you. We appreciate your generosity. We will look at your work and, if everything goes fine, we will publish it in the Help Center.

If you want to be sure that your template passes our tests, trying answering these questions before you send it in to us:

1. Would I personally use this template for my website?

2. Has the template got at least 5 pages?

The best templates look more like a finished and ready-to-use website than a template.

A good template should have:

  • a customized graphic template
  • original graphic elements in the header/footer
  • a Sitemap which at least 5 pages (e.g. a home page, contacts, about us, prices, etc) with a layout that already includes: dummy text (e.g. Lorem Ipsum) with style settings already applied; sample images (check the paragraph about image licences); multimedia objects (e.g. contact forms, a map on the contact page, a photo gallery, etc.)

3. Is there anything about my template that distinguishes from the others, or is it just a copy of something I've seen on the web?

A template needs an original idea or interpretation of an idea: a copy of something that already exists isn't enough.

4. Where do the pictures and photos in my template come from ?

All the images in a template must come from:

  • an archive of your own personal pictures: include a .txt file with your photos, in which you declare that you are the sole legitimate owner of them.
  • an archive of images that have been purchased with the correct user licence: include the licence with the pictures.

If it is not clear where your images come from, your template will not be accepted.

5. Have I included any logos/advertising of any kind anywhere in my template?

Make absolutely certain that photos and images in your template do not contain any trademarks, logos or advertising references, otherwise your template cannot be accepted.

6. Is my template in line with current trends and will it really help someone else create a website?

If the answer to these question is "yes", send us your template: go to the Publish a template page.

When your template is online, don't forget to check on the stars and comments: people always make suggestions and compliments!
