Hi,

I've made a new project in V13, with dynamic content in pages and header- and footer.

I have upload the site, but now i want to make some changes in header and footer and i have put a commercial image in the homepage.

Changes in header and footer not shown in preview and not online - but visible in project

Remove the commercial image on the homepage - image is gone but there is only an cross visible to close the image that isn't there anymore.

what is going wrong here ? Please some help

regards,

Sander

Why use dynamic content in heather and footer if you want to place picture there, it'w ay better to use the picture (for many reasons, one is for instance you will be way better found and indexed by search bots.)

The dynamic content is there to let a customer add or maintain a part of the side, it's not desgned for use as cms system.

Changes to the dynamic contant needs to be made online, I am not sure if you have done so, but I would strongly advise to use normal objects in header and footer. And if you need to change them then use x5 for it.

Hope this helps,

Hello Sander,

Andre is right, if you do not need to change the images online, I kindly suggest you to use the simple Image Object or other normal Objects in these sections. If you are still having difficulties, then please post the link to your website and explan in details what's wrong with it, so we can verify.

Thanks. Kind regards.

Hi,

Thank you for the answers. I removed de dynamic content on header en footer. It looks that everything is alright now.

The commercial error is gone, the background is changed the way i did. So the problems is de dynamic content in header en footer.

I try some more...

regards Sander
