I registered my product on 6th of jun. 3 months ago, and I am an old user with no right for the free upgrade. I have just built one site and i already have an obsolete software, in wich one a spend lot of time with the spanish bugs.
I´d like a free upgrade to. Paying 50 euros every 3 months. I should have pay a third part to do that site. I feel this comunity is not trustable.

Compré un producto hace 3 meses y ya es obsoleto. Estuve bastante tiempo resolviendo los bugs en español. Hice solamente un sitio y ya tengo que volver a pagar 50 euros.
Esta politica que tomaron me parece de mal gusto. Considero que debería tener un upgrade gtratuito a la versión 9.

I can understand your disappointment. Our policy is to give the free version to our customers but the time limit starts from our beta testing period (6/7-8/9/2011). This means that whoever purchased the Evo 8, 2 months before the release of Evo 9 can either have it for free or have a discount on it. Futhermore our Evo 8 users do not purchase the evo 9 at full price (69.95€), they save 30% on the total price and pay only 49.95€. This version 9 has been released after 2 years from Evo 8, and it is quite a coincidence that you purchased it only 3 months before. I'm sorry Simon...

I used the contact us email form on the websitex5 to ask about getting a discount on the purchase on v9. I read here you said v8 users do save 30%-problem is I tried entering my Product Code for the Promo Code as it said yet says cannot find mine? I have been using v8 since 2009...

You don't need to add your product code as promo code! If you already are our client, you simply go into our store (http://www.websitex5.com/en/store.html), and purchase the ''Upgrade from previous version WebSite X5 Evolution 8'', that will cost you only 49.95€!

On 9/15/2011 I recieved your Newsletter telling me I could get the free upgrade to V9. I have tried everything and can't find a way to download it. I add my Product Code and it tells me An error has occurred while validating your data. Please correct the data contained in the marked fields below. Any help would be great.. Thank you, Craig

@Craig. you are entitled to receive a free version of Evo 9 if you registered your Website X5 Evolution 8 after the 6th July 2011. If so, you simply add your product code as coupon code and proceed by adding all the data as if you where buying it normally.

i've same problem, i can't upgrade v8 to v9 because when i enter my product key the site write me "the given code does not exist, please check" any tip?
Hello, I have just buy and Website X5 V.8 from the retailer was the one available, I instaled and registered yesterday, today I try to make the upgrade, when applied my Product code in the promo code the message is that the code don´t exist!

you can open a new post simply by writing on the left hand side of the page (after the login) the problem, then go forward and finish to fill in the page. You will need to add the title, describe the problem and add tags. After select ''set this post as private'' on the bottom left and send.
