Not possible to edit template  en

Auteur : Nigel S.

I have just purchased the template 'Multi-purpose single page' assuming that I would be able to use either edit the whole template or copy elements from it to build a new website. The elements that I want to be able to edit or replicate are the anchor objects that span the whole page. This does not seem to be possible, so I appear to have wasted my money: unless I'm missing something... any ideas?

Nigel, if a cell is an anchor I don't think the anchor attribute can be copied between projects, but they are extraordinarily easy to create. So just look at the existing template to see how they have achieved what you require, almost certainly levels instead of pages, Cells with anchors on the home page and the level properties set to go to an anchor on the home page.

Got a question? Don't hesitate to add a post.

Hello Nigel,

you should be able to see the anchor Icon where it has been placed on the page in question, and if you want to change the link you have to check out the corresponding level on Step 3 and change the link which has been set on Properties.

Please attach some screenshots to show the difficulty you are having, so to help you further. Thank you kind regards.

As I said before, the problem I have is not being able to edit, copy or create an element that spans the whole viewport.

I have purchased a template which I can't use because there is no facility to edit the contents. Where is the html editor for page content? Am I missing something?

Nigel, please provide a screen shot of your problem.

I am not sure I understand you problem, but in the example below I have set up anchors on a single page website which is fully responsive, the website is at http://gippslandsinkers.com.au/

If you only wish to add, remove or rename an anchor, this is done in page view (step 4, Pages)

In step 3, Map you can create levels (effectively virtual pages that can point to anchors on your page). In this example I have created a New Level for each "page" I want the user to be able to go to. You cannot actually open them by double clicking (because there is nothing there)

You then use the properties button to set the link to the webpage and anchor

My apologies if I have missed the point of your question.

you can copy any cell element (effects, anchors, style, from one v13 project to another v13 project it does work as we have done it for some of our projects.

regards

OK here's a screenshot of the 'Multi-purpose single page' template which I purchased...

Forget I mentioned anchors, I get how to use them. What I can't do is edit the element colour or width

of the full width bars shown here. The centre section is zoomed out on my screen but represents

960 pixels. I understand how to edit the centre section or pages.

The only parts (in WebX5 version 13 pro) that I can edit at full screen width are the template

backgrounds, header and footer.

How are the full width bars shown here edited? The 'About' bar shown is not a Footer or background

but it spans the whole viewport. When I go to the page and try to edit it, all I can edit is the text...
