The OLE function has been removed from V9. It seems that is was not compatible with the code that V9 uses, and it was causing all kind of trouble to keep it. Even in V8, a lot of people had toruble using it.

I used it a lot in my V8 sites, but now, I'm using the pdf widget to acheive the same goals.

Yes BmT, the OLE 2.0 is also really old. If I correctly remember it came from MS at the end of 2000 Embarassed

Hi Bjarne,

the OLE function it is no longer supported. As Steve commented it was introduced by Microsoft in 2000 and it was never implemented again. In fact it remained at 2.0

An alternative to the OLE function is to incorporate word or excel sheets as images or as PDF files using the new widgets within the HTML-object. In this way, you just upload only PDF files to overwrite the previous ones, without not even touch the web site!

I see. The only way I can think, is to look for a Math software that permits you to 'save'  the formula as image. So you can import it into wsx5. I know that's not the fastest solution but I have no idea.

You can use Wolfram Alpha website, type your formula and save the image direclty draggin it .

See this page as example http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=integrale(sqrt(35))+/+log(x^2)

Hope this can help you!Wink
