How can I remove the line 'Land (ISO 3166/A2)' from the e-mail confirmation.
Posté le
strange.
Try settings step1, advanced, custumer details, is it there? and can you remove it with button on top.
or
try language section, search for iso in step1 general, then buttun at the end of content language. if you find it there then correct it, but it is strange that there is land twice, so I think option 1.
Best Regards

Hi Andre,
Thanks for your reply! I've had the same idea to check this, but unfortunately no iso in the language file and just one line for the country on the customer page.
Hope you will have another idea/solution.
Thanks
press ctrl while using the preview.
Or if it is online: do a full upload.
En anders -als het niet te groot is- zou je het naar me kunnen sturen, want anders zou ik het zo niet weten.

This line is not visible in the preview, only in the e-mail confirmation.
I've already done a full upload, but no change.
Is it the file .iwzip of .irpwj2 that I can send you. Can I send it you by wetransfer or do you prefer another way?
The iwzip with filetransfer would be great. Just remember I am a user like you and not from Incomedia.
I have looked in the project. It looks like a bug I will report this to Incomedia.
If you remove the country selection both will dissapear.
And sorry for the fake order(s)
Hi Monica.
We've verified the issue, and it is currently under check by our developers.
As soon as I have news on this, I will be sure to notify you here
Thank you
Stefano
Hi Monica.
I've received word from the developers.
It is the expected behavior for this particular field to appear on the Order summary if you ask the customer to provide the data about is country during the order process.
There is no way to remove the field from the summary if the Country info is requested to the customer.
Let me know if I can provide further clarification
Thank you
Stefano
Stefano, thx
But it's not the country text but the (ISO 3166/A2) that comes with it, please check the prtscrn from the user.
once country is selected you get 2 country lines in the order confirmation one with (ISO 3166/A2) and a normal one.
The (ISO 3166/A2) should be removed this makes no sence to have 2 country fill in places.
It says Land (Dutch for Country) twice!
Hi Andre,
I understand your point.
This is still apparently the correct way the software is supposed to work, so you're going to get both lines in the confirmation email, which no chance of removing one of them at this time.
I suggest you open an Idea topic so that we can keep this need under check for future updates.
I thank you for your understanding
Stefano
Well Monica,
It seems to be the way it is by design. It should make delivery for other country's more easy, but why it is set on the confirmation e-mail I don't know.
It makes IMHO no sense at all, and if you do then remove the other one.
I don't think that people that order something will understand these codes.
Anyway you have an answer.
I still don't agree with it, I have checked my mail (for over 10 years backwards) and I order frequently items, I never had a code like that in a confirmation from any shop.
I can change this post to IDEA if you want to. Or you could create a new IDEA post yourself.
Hi all,
Indeed it is very strange to see these two codes displayed on the confirmation message of an order.
I find it quite abnormal that the country is displayed twice on the acknowledgment message of an order.
Especially with an ISO mention that the customer will have trouble understanding...
Once again, the meanders of computing are unfathomable!!

Hi Andre and Stefano,
First of all, thanks for the information and your answers!
I also don't agree that this is the right way that the software works. So as Jiper mentioned, I've never seen it before when I've ordered something in a webshop.
Thanks Andre, I appreciate it when you can change this item to 'IDEA'.
It done, I still don't agree because it just does not belang in a confirmation, no customer is waiting for this text and double language, We all know where we live and what a country name is, no need for an ISO mark.
