I am using ipad 2 with IOS 9.3.5 and website X5 evolution 15.1.1(=last update). On my website there are many embedded youtube video's. At this moment is is not possible anymore to enlarge the video's to Fullscreen. The button to enlarge is gray and when I click on it, it says:" Fullscreen not supported in your browser". In the past Fullscreen was possible but I do not know exactly when the problem started. When I open my website in Edge, Google chrome or Mozilla Firefox everything is normal. Only in safari there is a problem.
Has anyone an idea what can cause this problem and how to solve it.
see for an example:

Hi Aat,
The update 15.1.1 solved most problems with iOS 9.3.5. In order for the problem to be solved though, you needed to re export the whole website online with this new version.
Have you done so already?
Have you tested other features that had problems and are they fixed now?
Please let me know

Hi Stefano,
Can you explain what you mean by " re export the whole website online with version 15.1.1."
I imported the project in v.15.1.1 that I had made in v.14 and then I uploaded the website to the internet. The Full screen problem of youtube video's witn IOS 9.3.5 still excist, not only on my own website but also on onther websites.

Aat, you have updated WX5 and opened your project, done a clean preview with CTRL+preview and then uploaded the whole site (not just new and changed)?
Then when viewing the site on the web, I strongly recommend CTRL+F5 to flush the browser cache on PC's or the equivalent if there is one in the IOS browser. Does your website now work as required?

i only have the Fullscreen Youtube problem when viewing embedded youtube video's in websites on my ipad 2 with IOS 9.3.5. (On ipad there is not a CTRL button)
the problem do not excist on PC with browsers like Edge, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. So I do not understand why the problem only excist on ipad.
When you open the link I send you on ipad you can see the problem yourself.
Hopefully you can help me further.
Aat, I can help no further, I do not have access to apple products, although I am sure there must be a way to clear the cache in the browser even on an iPad. You may wish to try testing your site on iPad with an up-to-date browser (ie install a 3rd party browser like Firefox or Chrome).
I just wanted to ensure that you had correctly fully uploaded your site in accordance with Stefano's request. If this is the case I am sure Incomedia will be able to confirm the problem and mark it for attention.

This is what I have done:
In spite of all these steps the button to enlarge youtube video's to Fullscreen still keeps gray.

Hi Aat.
I've tested this on a 9.3.5 iOS Safari on iPad.
Apparently, the error has nothing to do with the website itself.
If I touch the fullscreen button, it says that the Safari browser for this specific iOS version doesn't support fullscreen anymore.
This is most probably due to an update on the Youtube embed by Youtube itself, for which unfortunately we can do nothing to change.
Unless they decide to bring the functionality back for this browser version, it will not be available.
I hope I've made this issue clearer
Thank you

Thank you Stefano,
I also thought that this is something that youtube has to solve. I think google has disabled this function for embedded youtube video's in favor of the youtube app.
thank you for your support.
