Unable to upload updated files to yahoo small business hosting

I try disable firewall, disable antivirus but still unable to upload. ftp address, ID and password all correct. Please advise.
Btw i am using WebSite X5 Evolution 9 and yahoo small business hosting service. Messege i get is "Unable to connect to server" , "Generic Error"

Can you make contact with a ftp program?
are you absolutly sure your settings are all correct? set the default path in v9 to empty, check settings! and try again.
check also provider FAQ to see how the ftp adress needs to be written.
Hope these pointers help a little bit to get it sorted out.
