Hi I have been looking at Admidio and would like to use it in a website. I have downloaded it and installed it into my website folder and changed the permissions as directed. I now need to know how to put it into my website in X5. I know I need to use an iframe but what do I put into the iframe to show / link to Admidio??
thanks

Hello William
I have an example here : http://c4dshow.com
You find the ADMIDIO membership system here : http://c4dshow.com/member-system.html
And here : http://c4dshow.com/3d-figuren.html You have a page made in X5 - if you choose one of the options in the left-menu, you will see the ADMIDIO system integrated in X5. Try this : http://c4dshow.com/animals.html
The code for the iframe http://c4dshow.com/animals.html is :
And the code in the html is :
And in the expert section :
Hope you are inspired and helped by this.
Kind regards

Hi John, thanks for replying. I am still at a loss lol
this is what I have done so far
downloaded and installed admidio and changed the folder permissions for the folder adm_my_files
setup the mysql table for "chat" (I can log in and create events etc.)
I have opened my website in x5 and inserted a text object and a HTML code object.
I have copied the code from your example changing the sections in HTML and CSS to match my settings.
I have nothing in the text object.
this is as far as I have got.
What do I need to do further in the webpage to view my (Admidio chat on the web page?
thanks
William
Hello William
I don't quite understand - there should be no special settings about the chat. When installing ADMIDIO, all the tables is created.
Do you have the ADMIDIO software to function as a standalone system?

Hi John, sorry I played around with the code and have it sorted. I should have just left it as you had it but I thought I needed to insert my name for the member. Once I changed it back to member it worked.
All I need to do now is play around with the settings to get it looking the way I want it to.
thanks

on another note when I view the web page I seem to be getting double links and no pics?
Hello William
The "double links" is because : In the area to the left you can have eg. the news module to show as default. To the right is the modules you have set up to be available.
I can't guess why the small icons is missing.
Kind regards
