Why the system becomes to slow

Why when I add more than 5 buttons on the same web page the system becomes very slow, so I must close the application.
why?

How many objects are there in the page your building?
Could it be that the page is currently saturated with objects and thus the issue is already generated by this rather than the buttons themselves?
Would it be possible for you to attach here a screenshot of the Grid View that shows how the page is currently configured? This could greatly help in understanding the possible causes for this
