I have installed PowerPoint plugin but I can't upload PowerPoint Presentations into my website. When I have asked to choose the file from pc, I have chosen and then I went for preview. In the preview section A window opens and asked for save the same file but not showing my PowerPoint Presentation in the website preview. What to do?

Try if it works online, or try another browser in preview screen (see top right button) and test there.

sometimes that works better then the standard preview.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Andre E. I think this may work when my website will be online. Because I have tried it on Google Chrome, Mozilla Fireforx and Microsoft edge also

Yes sometimes the standard preview misses the correct drivers.

So if these work then online it will also be no problem.

best Regards

Yes, when I go to your site it offers me the option to download the Powerpoint file and then open it (using Powerpoint), but does not play it within the site page itself. Looks like your presentation app hasn't installed correctly on your site, maybe?

I had assumed that the Powerpoint "optional object" was a viewer of some sort, but maybe it is just a download option, not a viewer? Can someone from Incomedia or moderator shed some light on this?

Hello ANI

You should use the ppt format when saving the presentation.

ppt files will be opened as presentation - pps files will be opened in editing-mode / download.

A tip - try the free Google Web designer.

With this you can create amazing effects on a page. It is similar to WebAnimation Plus, but it is free.

Hello John,

I have converted the pptx file to ppt and pps forat and uploaded it to my website. But it still asking to download, not showing the file on the web. I hope incomedia will bring an update to solve the PowerPoint Issue

Thanks for your tip for Google Web Designer.

Have a nice day

Hello ANI

You could use an iframe to show the powerpoint animation.

<iframesrc='https://view.officeapps.live.com/op/embed.aspx?src=https://www.your_website/file_name.pptx'width='100%'height='600px'frameborder='0'>

This will function.

I tested it here : http://www.bramminginfo.dk/brm09/blog-intro.html

I gave the height of 400.

But still - Google Web Designer is able to create very good animations. Also here you could use an iframe to embed the animation.

Just put the "result" html in the iframe - that's it.
