Video Support as bad as befeoire

I have given up to try and add videos into my websites. Every single video format that I try is rejected, with the message to install the "correct plugin"
This goes back over years as I have been using since V9.
This has been a major flaw of this software, through Win 7, 8 and now 10.
I create my own product videos that I host on my own server, and I do not want to upload these videos to Youtube.
Irrespective of .Avi, MP4, .mov. .wmv, it will be rejected because there are missing plugins.
Which is nonsense, If all these different video formata can play on all my PC's, then the problem is WebX.

Be aware that you should use mp4 and that this should be H.264 encoded.
The 264 codec is important, as this will play on most devices.
(google IT > EN) ... if the problem were in Preview, do not take into account, as Chromium does not have all the plug-ins or are difficult to configure.
... With v.16_PRO in Preview can be used alternative browsers (CHROME, FIREFOX, IE, EDGE, etc.).
