How exactly are you changing the color of your links? Perhaps you're doing that in the wrong place. You should be able to change that at Step 2 under Fonts, style... Have you checked there?

The reason because you cannot display some URL's in a showbox is the following:

When you open a website in a showbox, you're trying to open a website INSIDE your website. For some websites that is okay. For many others that is just not possible. They will block your website from opening theirs inside yours, and for this reason, they just won't display. In these cases you will simply have to provide a link directly to their website, or contact them in order to get the permission to do so
