No items in stock on database

Hi All..
After some time and effort have finally got the datbases up and running on my server nad users can now register fine. The problem I now have is when I update the quantities in the cart in X5 step 1, then upload .. they are still showing as zero and saying out of stoch should anyone try to order.
Can anyone point me as to where i am going wrong?

Did you create 2 seperate databases, one for customers and one for the shop?
You need to make for every object that uses a database -> a new databse. You can't use the databse twice.

I created 2 databases one for the customer log in and automatic registration, which works fine and also one for the store .
