While designing my web pages, I have a Table Object open. At the top of the screen, I have an icon that looks like “</>” entitled “Enable HTML Code”. However, I am unable to use this icon. Clicking on it or dragging it does not seem to work. Even if I highlight text and click on it, nothing happens.
What I'm trying to do is insert HTML code that references an embedded PHP script, but I cannot do it using this icon.
How can I embed scripts in the Table Object?

It works just like the html button in the text object.
If selected (blue square around it) and html tag's will be handeld as html code.
No square, all text will be handeld as text.
Percival, Andre is absolutely correct (this screen capture was done before I realised Andre had answered)
I cannot see or imagine your page, but since I have a dislike of tables in WX5 (because as yet they are not responsive), can you lay your page out as a series of cells (which can be responsive) and in the appropriate cell place an html object?

Thanks everyone.
I tried it just as instructed and it works! However, it would be helpful when you mark tags with the "Enable HTML Code" button, that the color of the tags change to indicate that it has been enabled for HTML.
Thanks.
I guess the blue box arond the button can be clearer, or maybe some other sort of notice could help.
Thanks anyway, glad it's solved.
