I am using the current version of WebsiteX5 Pro 2019.1.6 for my website unearthingthetruth.info. On the Contact Form Object "Send" page I want to send a confirmatory email to the user. There is a subject box for the email but no message box to write the message in. How do I write a confirmation message? I am saving the user's data in a database.

Strange, mine looks like this:

Try a restart of pc and start x5 again, try a new project.

If new project is ok, then remove this form and create a new one.

If new project is not ok, try a new full install. (from top right pulldown next to your name -> download.

Hope one of these help!

Arnold, you need to make the WX5 window deeper, if your screen resolution is such that you still cannot see the message box when WX5 is full screen you may have to reduce the magnification back to 100% in windows display settings.

The problem is as you said, Esahc. However my Windows display settings were already at 100%.

I tried opening a new project, as someone else suggested, and a very thin message box appeared as shown in the attached file. When I then reopened my existing project, the very thin message box was still there! It is also displayed in a second website I have. So I'm ok now.

Still puzzled, I then changed the screen resolution from my preferred 1280 x 720 to the highest available which is 1920 x 1080. With this resolution there was plenty of room for WebsiteX5 and the message box was displayed full size. So the problem was actually with my screen resolution.

However I shall stick with my lower resolution because I prefer to see things larger, and I can still use the message box which has since materialized, even if it is very thin.

Thanks for responding so promptly.

Arnold, you would be better off selecting native resolution and setting an enlargement in Windows (if using Win10 this is very simple). At least everything on the screen would be crisp rather than blurry as it must be at 1280X720.

An alternative might be autohide taskbar (right click taskbar/taskbar settings to set) then always run full screen.
