Why Do My Credits Expire?  en

I see the discussion is closed - but here is another point of view....

As a customer, I hate it too when credits expire, but from a business point of view, there is a factor to understand.

An outstanding credit is a liability on the revenue side of a business..... at some point you have to close it out on the books.....

Its just one point of view to consider..... and perhaps credits should be thought of differently by Incomedia - perhaps that they are considered delivered at time of purchase and no longer a liability, and customers are free to use them whenever they want.

I like that :).    BUT I will concede that from a business point of view credits must expire at some point.....   The only side that doesn'd quite align is that I don't think you can return credits? In that case, they are already balanced out and not a liability when sold.

If Incomedia were in Canada, where I am, they would not legally be allowed to cancell prepaid credits.

Just trying to put out a balanced perspective...

Adrian

Hi Adrian,

thank you for your feedback.

With reference to your question, I confirm that credits, as well as all the other Incomedia's products (including Optional Objects and Templates) are possible to be refunded within 30 days from the purchase date.

Please let me know if I can be of further help. Kind regards.

Dear Adrian, i understand perfectly.

Unfortunately Incomedia, like every company in this world, aims to make a profit.

When operating internationally it is normal that the rules of the country in which you reside are not in line with those of the company.

In this case, the company may limit or refuse certain services or products in specific countries.

When you purchase a product or service, you fully consent to the latter's policies and standards.

We all hate when credits expire, i don't think anyone is someone who is enthusiastic about this.

As you point out, the company should put aside business and profit, think more of us, listen to our complaints and requests.

I hope i explained myself correctly and understood your problem, if you wish i can translate what is written for the staff.

Gabriele C. - are you kidding?

I understand companies like Incomedia as well as my own and others ones have to make a profit. But they make a profit when I buy credits and take someting from marketplace. When my credits expire they have money for nothing (Extraordinary gains from accounting language), I have only a loss because paid for nothing. Is it fair? I don't think so...

I'm not kidding about anything or anyone.

These are the company's policies. I'm sorry but i can't do anything else.

Don't believe that I agree with Incomedia's policies. It bothers me that credits expire.

I still haven't managed to raise money on the tree behind the house. I remind you that i am also a customer. We're on the same boat.

It is right to point out these problems to Incomedia. But don't wait until these problems get heard too much.

I wanted to buy the credits on offer these days but I didn't do it for the simple reason of the deadline.

I know you are the customer like me but they should defend their policy, not we :)

I "sell" you my trick for it: buy them, but don't activate - they are valid many years then and activate when you need them.

The company without customers makes no sense to exist.

Customers are the beating heart. Every single user has a power in hand, without being aware of it.  He just needs to use it correctly.

You can apply this principle in everyday life. The necessary thing is the union with cohesion.

Smart your method, but the code could be stolen in some way.
If you have noticed they have also included a protection in the shop.

P.s.

Not to be confused with negative actions.
In Italy, in a certain sense it is called a boycott and is legally punishable by the penal code.
