Discrepencies between preview mode and finished site

Hello,
I set the menu item colors both for regular and level menus.
In the desktop menu, the item menu color is set to blue, while the other items are purple. This indeed works very well in preview mode. However, once I export the project to disk and browse throgh the finished site, all menu items are purple. It doesn't matter which is the cuurent page. Any ideas?

You don't have on your pc all the software needed to get your site in good view.
The internet provider, provides also software to make your website work good. So to make a good comparison, place your site online.
