FAQ Schema  en

There are a number of sites that use an FAQ Schema in order to improve SEO. Neil Patel is heavily promoting this. I have implemented his ideas on to two of my website pages but Google is not showing them despite their test tools displaying the FAQ Scema correctly. Has anyone else had a similar experience and if so can you tell me what I am doing wrong. Pages are https://buildthewebsite.co.uk/index.html and https://buildthewebsite.co.uk/local-search-engine-optomization.html

Have asked Google to index both pages.

Many thanks

Derek

Hi Derek

Unfortunately, this is something that the software does not take care of automatically and I assume you've had to adapt the generated code to fit these guidelines you mention.

Since the software currently does not generate these itself, I'm unable to provide the required assistance as to why this seems not to be working correctly

I would suggest proceeding like this:

Open up a new Idea topic mentioning the need for adding these particular requirements to the software-generated code. This way, the matter will be correctly highlighted for the Staff when discussing possible future implementations in the software

I apologize for not being able to help further on this matter specifically, but please let me know if I can be of help for anything else

Thank you

Stefano

Hi Stefano, Thanks for your reply but I do not think that it is a software problem. The code displays correctly on the Google test software so on this basis I am assuming the coding is correct. Hence why I posted to see if anyone else was using a FAQ scheme for SEO purposes. My theory is that because my website does not have a huge amount of content Google is choosing not to rank it higher in its index/SERP. There is no guarantee that Google will display a FAQ schema just because you have coded it in your site. As noone else has responded to the post I will do some more digging around.

Regards

Derek
